Due to the covid pandemic, this year’s The Paediatric Society of New Zealand Te Kāhui Mātai Arotamariki o Aotearoa 72nd Annual Scientific and the Special Interest Group Meetings will now be held virtually.
PSNZ President Nicola Austin says, “We are keen to get as many people as possible attending the sessions. We know having a virtual conference isn’t ideal but please block out the days in your diary now and commit to attending if you can. It’s still an excellent opportunity to develop your knowledge and network with others.
“There are some unique advantages to having a virtual conference such as no travel time, the ability to attend sessions as time allows, no accommodation costs and the ability to access all sessions after the conference.”
The programme is as follows:
Tuesday 2 November 2021 0900-1200
Special Interest Group Meeting - Child Development, Communication and Connection, and Child Protection SIG
Safe and Sound – using a hauora Māori approach in everyday work
Wednesday 3 November 2021 1230-1730
Thursday 4 November 2021 0800-1500
Paediatric Society of New Zealand Te Kāhui Mātai Arotamariki o Aotearoa 72nd Annual Scientific Meeting
The full programme is available here.
Registration is now open. People who register for the main conference will be able to attend the SIG day for free. All those who register for Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 November will be able to access the content for all sessions after the conference.
Attendees who previously registered for the in-person meeting will be communicated with regarding your registration.
