For awareness: A third pertussis death – national response focusses on vaccination and early diagnosis

In the past week public health services have been notified of another tragic death of an infant with confirmed pertussis infection. In response to the recent deaths a national pertussis task force has been established.

Please find attached a copy of the information being provided to clinicians today. Please share this with your relevant clinical and health networks.
