In this session, Chloe Davidson, Senior Hospital Play Specialist at Starship Children’s Hospital, will share insights into the vital role hospital play specialists play in supporting tamariki and whānau on paediatric wards. She will highlight how they work as part of the multidisciplinary team to provide whānau-centred, individualised care that helps create more positive hospital experiences.

About Chloe Davidson
Chloe Davidson is a registered Hospital Play Specialist and teacher who has been working in Aotearoa for the past 14 years supporting pēpi, tamariki and rangatahi. First as an early childhood teacher and then later as a Hospital Play Specialist. Chloe is currently completing her Masters in Education and is the current president of the Hospital Play Specialists’ Association Aotearoa New Zealand.
