We're seeking a senior, values-led leader to help shape a better future for tamariki and rangatahi across Aotearoa's child and youth health system.

The Programme Manager – Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Equity is a pivotal role within PSNZ, working in close partnership with our Māori Director and Executive Team to strengthen Te Tiriti–led practice, embed equity, and champion Te Ao Māori across our systems, decision-making, and national programmes.

If you're a respected senior leader with a strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, proven experience influencing system-level change, and credibility with clinicians and governance stakeholders, we'd like to hear from you. This 0.3 FTE role (approximately 12 hours per week) is remote-based, offering flexibility while enabling you to work at a national level on mahi that truly matters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic advice on Te Tiriti, equity, and service design
  • Supporting Clinical Networks to embed Te Tiriti and equity into their workplans
  • Leading the development of PSNZ's Critical Treaty Analysis tools
  • Building capability across PSNZ staff and members on Te Tiriti and equity practice

Are you an experienced operations leader who thrives on supporting high-performing teams to deliver meaningful outcomes? We're looking for you.

The Clinical Network Operational Support Manager is a key operational leadership role within the Child & Youth Health National Clinical Network (CYHNCN). You'll work closely with clinical leaders, project coordinators, and lived experience navigators to coordinate national workplans, strengthen systems, and support effective delivery of equity-focused initiatives across the child and youth health system.

This 20-hour per week contractor role is perfect for someone who loves the detail of operations while understanding the bigger picture of system-level change. You'll blend project management, relationship-building, and problem-solving to help clinical networks succeed.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and coordinate national clinical network workplans, reporting, and risk management
  • Provide hands-on operational support, from setting up systems and templates to onboarding coordinators
  • Help clinical networks scope and deliver projects aligned with strategy, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and equity priorities
  • Strengthen collaboration across networks to deliver shared national quality improvement goals
  • Work in partnership with the Programme Manager, Te Tiriti and Equity to embed these approaches across all mahi

Who you are: An organised, adaptable leader with strong project and operational management experience in health. You're confident working with senior clinicians, value relationships, understand lived experience perspectives, and are motivated by improving outcomes for tamariki and rangatahi.

The New Zealand Child & Youth Clinical Network is seeking passionate health professionals to join the Gastroenterology Clinical Reference Group. We're looking for six to eight professionals who represent diverse specialisations, sectors, and regions across Aotearoa, including those with experience working within Māori and Pacific communities.

As a member, you'll lead national quality improvement in gastroenterology and hepatic services for tamariki and rangatahi, working collaboratively across primary, secondary, and tertiary settings. The group meets approximately four times per year (mostly online, with one face-to-face meeting in Wellington or Auckland), and all travel costs are fully covered.

If you have expertise in gastroenterology, nursing, allied health, primary care, dietetics, pharmacy, or lived experience with childhood GI conditions, we'd love to hear from you. You'll help shape clinical practice, develop resources, and contribute to better health outcomes for tamariki and their whānau.

We're looking for a paediatrician to join the Diabetes National Clinical Network Reference Group. If you're interested in contributing to national quality improvement in paediatric diabetes care, this could be a great fit.

About the role: The Reference Group provides clinical leadership to ensure consistent, evidence-based diabetes services across Aotearoa. You'd be involved in developing practice guidelines, whānau resources, professional education, and quality improvement initiatives - all grounded in a Te Tiriti o Waitangi framework with a strong focus on health equity, particularly for Māori and Pacific communities.

Practical details:

  • Approximately 6-8 meetings per year (5 online, 1 face-to-face in Wellington or Auckland)
  • All travel costs are fully funded
  • Multidisciplinary team (endocrinologists, nurses, dietitians, whānau voice, and others)
  • Term to June 2026
  • Full administrative and management support provided

Who they're looking for: Paediatricians with clinical expertise in diabetes management and ideally experience working within Māori/Pacific communities. You don't need to be a specialist endocrinologist; interest and commitment to the mahi is what matters.

We invite you to join the Paediatric Palliative Care (PPC) Clinical Network in shaping the future of equitable, culturally responsive palliative care for tamariki, rangatahi, and their whānau across Aotearoa.

We are particularly seeking additional members with:

  • Clinical expertise in specialities that interact with palliative care (oncology, cardiology, respiratory, neurology, infectious diseases, and others)
  • Rural and regional paediatric practice and perspectives
  • Allied health backgrounds (nursing, psychology, social work, chaplaincy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy)
  • Demonstrated experience and passion for working alongside Māori and Pacific communities

As a network member, you will directly influence national quality improvement, help develop evidence-based practice guidelines, and ensure that vulnerable young people and their families have access to compassionate, equitable care. This is a meaningful opportunity to influence equitable, quality newborn care across New Zealand's secondary and primary care services.

We particularly encourage applications from clinicians with experience working in Māori and Pacific communities as we strengthen our equity lens. Members participate in four meetings per year, three brief virtual sessions and one face-to-face gathering in Wellington or Auckland, with all travel costs fully covered.

The CRG particularly values applicants with experience working in Māori and Pacific communities, as we strengthen our equity lens in supporting newborn care. Members meet four times per year, including three short virtual meetings and one face-to-face day (held in Wellington or Auckland), with all travel costs funded.

If you're passionate about improving outcomes for newborns and their whānau through coordinated, culturally responsive care models, we'd like to hear from you.
