In this 30-minute session, Chloe Davidson will share valuable insights into how hospital play specialists support tamariki and whānau on paediatric wards. The presentation will highlight:

  • The vital role Hospital Play Specialists play in supporting families
  • How they work as part of the multidisciplinary team
  • Approaches to providing whānau-centred, individualised care
  • Methods for creating more positive hospital experiences for children and families

About the Presenter

Chloe Davidson brings extensive experience to this presentation as a registered Hospital Play Specialist and teacher. She has been working in Aotearoa for the past 14 years, supporting pēpi, tamariki and rangatahi - first as an early childhood teacher and later transitioning to her role as a Hospital Play Specialist.

Chloe is currently completing her Master's in Education and serves as the president of the Hospital Play Specialists' Association Aotearoa New Zealand, making her well-positioned to share both practical experience and sector leadership insights.
