Advance your epilepsy care expertise – PET 3 training coming this July

Are you a healthcare professional supporting rangatahi with epilepsy? The internationally recognised Paediatric Epilepsy Training (PET) programme is back this July with PET 3, focused on adolescents and the transition to adult care.

PET 3 – Managing epilepsy in older children and adolescents

  • Monday, 21 July – Tuesday, 22 July 2025
  • Ernest and Marion Davis Library, Auckland Hospital
  • Recommended for doctors and nurses caring for adolescents and young adults with epilepsy 👉 Register here

PET 1 (and ideally PET 2) must be completed before attending PET 3.

💡 Why attend?

  • Improve the diagnosis of epileptic and non-epileptic events
  • Enhance your understanding of transitional care
  • Learn when to involve a paediatric neurologist
  • Bring new knowledge back to your local service

Developed by the British Paediatric Neurology Association and delivered by New Zealand paediatric neurologists, PET courses are designed to lift standards of care for young people across Aotearoa.
