The Paediatric Society of New Zealand | Te Kāhui Mātai Arotamariki o Aotearoa is seeking expressions of interest to join our Annual Meeting Scientific Committee (AMSC).
This committee plays a vital role in shaping the scientific programme for our Annual Scientific Meeting, a cornerstone event in advancing child health in Aotearoa. We're looking for passionate professionals who are keen to help ensure our programme is balanced, inclusive, and reflects the latest thinking in paediatrics and child health.
We’re currently seeking representatives from the following groups:

Child health nurses (2 positions)

Allied health professionals (1 position)
-
Paediatricians (minimum 3 positions)
-
Academic paediatric community (1–2 positions)
We strongly encourage applications from Māori and Pacific peoples.
The committee advises on scientific content, reviews abstracts, supports equity and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles, and helps guide speaker selection and scientific awards.
