18 September
We're excited to announce that registration is now open for the Paediatric Society of New Zealand's 76th Annual Meeting, taking place 4-7 November 2025 at Due Drop Events Centre in Manukau.
This year's conference promises to be exceptional, with an outstanding lineup of speakers including Prof Robert Jacobson, Dame Valerie Adams, Prof Innes Asher ONZM, and many other distinguished presenters who will share their expertise across a diverse range of paediatric topics.
Featured Workshop Opportunities
We're particularly excited to highlight two special workshops that offer unique professional development opportunities:
Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Workshop - Wednesday 5 November
This hands-on "taster" workshop is designed for acute paediatric clinicians interested in learning more about POCUS. Led by Professor Gillian Whalley (University of Otago) and Dr Kylie Salt (Paediatric Emergency Physician and paediatric POCUS lead at Starship), the session will cover cardiac, lung, and vascular access stations. Numbers are strictly limited to 24 participants, so early registration is essential.
Courageous Conversation Workshop - Friday 7 November
Join Dr Mathew Farry and Kat Poi for an important 90-minute session on advancing equitable health outcomes for tamariki within the context of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Aotearoa's diversity. Participants will explore practical frameworks for building cultural responsiveness and anti-racist decision-making in paediatric care.
Register Early and Save
Early bird registration rates are available until 3 October 2025, so don't delay in securing your place at what promises to be an inspiring and educational gathering of the paediatric community.
