We're Recruiting: Clinical Network Operational Support Manager

The Clinical Network Operational Support Manager is a key operational leadership role within the Child & Youth Health National Clinical Network (CYHNCN). You'll work closely with clinical leaders, project coordinators, and lived experience navigators to coordinate national workplans, strengthen systems, and support effective delivery of equity-focused initiatives across the child and youth health system.

This 20-hour per week contractor role is perfect for someone who loves the detail of operations while understanding the bigger picture of system-level change. You'll blend project management, relationship-building, and problem-solving to help clinical networks succeed.

What you'll do:

  • Lead and coordinate national clinical network workplans, reporting, and risk management
  • Provide hands-on operational support, from setting up systems and templates to onboarding coordinators
  • Help clinical networks scope and deliver projects aligned with strategy, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and equity priorities
  • Strengthen collaboration across networks to deliver shared national quality improvement goals
  • Work in partnership with the Programme Manager, Te Tiriti and Equity to embed these approaches across all mahi

Who you are: An organised, adaptable leader with strong project and operational management experience in health. You're confident working with senior clinicians, value relationships, understand lived experience perspectives, and are motivated by improving outcomes for tamariki and rangatahi.
