The General Paediatric Clinical Network has completed its first year!
With a reference group established and the first face-to-face hui held, the Network has prioritised three workstreams: ADHD/Aroreretini services and the effective use of limited specialist resources; Outpatient Demand and Access Equity; and RSV prophylaxis.
Alongside this, the Network has supported a submission to the Whaikaha / New Zealand Disability Support Strategy review, contributed to the joint RACP and PSNZ statement on adults on paediatric wards, endorsed the Australasian Bronchiolitis Guidelines, and is monitoring national developments on scabies management.
Year two will focus on building momentum across the workstreams and growing collaboration across the sector.
