The Child and Youth Health National Clinical Network (CYHNCN) is seeking expressions of interest from Clinical Nurse Specialists with paediatric palliative care experience to join the Paediatric Palliative Care Workstream Reference Group.
Reference Group members contribute to national quality improvement, working alongside healthcare professionals and whānau representatives to develop practical resources, guidance and education that support high-quality palliative care for pēpi, tamariki, rangatahi and their whānau across Aotearoa.
Strengthening equity is a priority for the Workstream, and we will prioritise applicants with experience partnering with Māori and Pacific communities who can support culturally responsive approaches to paediatric palliative care.
The Workstream meets monthly online for one hour, with one full-day face-to-face meeting each year, usually in Wellington or Auckland. Travel expenses are funded, and we encourage applicants to talk with their employer about support to attend.
