29 September 2026
Join the Neurodevelopment Workstream on Tuesday 13 October, 12pm–12.30pm (online via Teams) for our next Lunch and Learn session with Laura Thompson ONZM, two-time Paralympian, five-time Paralympic medallist, and founder and CEO of āhei.
Laura will introduce āhei, a New Zealand-developed platform that helps schools, clubs, coaches and whānau create more inclusive physical activity experiences for tamariki. She'll explore the barriers disabled and neurodivergent tamariki can face in physical education, sport and recreation, and how health and neurodevelopment professionals can help build stronger connections with schools, whānau and community providers so more tamariki can experience movement, belonging and success.
This session will be followed by a knowledge translation session on 10 November.
