Tuesday 10 November 2026, 12pm–12.30pm (online via Teams)
Building on her October Lunch and Learn presentation, two-time Paralympian Laura Thompson ONZM returns to lead a guided discussion on how we can make movement, sport and recreation more inclusive for disabled and neurodivergent tamariki.
This 30-minute session is a chance to reflect on the key themes from āhei and share ideas and experiences with colleagues across health, education and community settings. It will focus on putting those ideas into practice: where the barriers lie, how professionals can support schools, whānau and community providers beyond the clinic, and where your own role, service or local network could connect with this work.
Laura is the founder and CEO of āhei, an inclusive physical activity and education platform supporting schools, clubs, coaches and whānau across Aotearoa.
