We are pleased to share that Dr Owen Sinclair, President of the Paediatric Society of New Zealand (PSNZ), and Dr Nicola Austin, Chair of the New Zealand Child and Youth Clinical Networks (NZCYCN), have both endorsed the Child Health Nursing Standards Framework Aotearoa 2024.
This important document has been developed in partnership with Whānau Āwhina Plunket, with leadership provided by Sarah Williams, who is not only the Chair of the NZNO College of Child and Youth Nurses but also a valued member of PSNZ.
The framework is a significant milestone for the child health nursing sector, setting standards that will shape the practice of nurses working with tamariki across Aotearoa.
